A Celebration Of The Marstons Mills River

River Day 2004 Has Excellent Turnout!
It was a great day beside the Mill Pond where an estimated 700 people attended River Day on May 2nd. The hamburgers and hot dogs served up by the Liberty Hall Club tasted great while lots of folks, both young and old, learned more about the Marstons Mills River and its fragile watershed.

We'd like to acknowledge the many volunteers who worked at River Day for they all gave up their Sunday to make this event possible. We are also owe thanks to all of the local businesses that provided both prizes and financial support.

And again this year, special thanks go to Kris Clark, coordinator of the River Day program, to Lynne Dowdall of the Cape Cod Conservation District to Donna Lawson of the Marstons Mills Village Association and to Al Baker of the Liberty Hall Club. They have expended many, many hours coordinating all of the tasks required to make River Day a success.
