Craft Fair
The Craft Fair on Dec 13,2003 was a great success, put on by Local Crafter's. The community supported it with their attendance and by the Liberty Hall Club with their soup and sandwiches. Thanks to all who came to support our Crafter's and a special thanks to all that helped make it happen.
The Needy Fund
And how about that FREE BREAKFAST last month! Through your generous donations that morning $200.00 was donated to the NEEDY FUND Thanks to all
Also a very special THANK YOU to the Breakfast crew!
On A Sadder Note...
We lost one of our Members last month ”Joseph Duarte Sr.”. He was one of our oldest Members if not the oldest, and I believe one of our oldest residents of Marstons Mills! Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family & friends, from “The Liberty Hall Club “.
Clean-Up Day
There will be another Clean Up Day at Liberty Hall. It is scheduled for January 17,2004. This time we will concentrate on the Main Hall and surrounding areas, and the smaller areas too!
So come on up and see how clean we can we can be in “2004”.
2004 Officers
Well there has been a few changes of our Club
Officers to start the New Year they as follows:
Ron Beals ~ President
Frank Simmons ~ Vice President
Wayne Mahannah ~ Treasurer
Ernest Kenney ~ Secretary
Ben Burgio ~ E-Board (trainee for Secretary)
Our Thanks to Past officers for your time and efforts They did not go unnoticed …And we Welcome the New Officers …..may you serve your positions well !
New Member
And we would like to welcome a new member, “David Curtis” . Welcome to The Liberty Hall Club!
And
We wish to thank Bob & Donna Lawson for their donation of the wreaths that are on Liberty Hall. Thank you for your generosity during this holiday season. It makes the Club a bit more festive looking!
Also, there seems to be an issue you might want to talk to your District Town Councilor about and that is about the signal light that is needed on Route 28 at the intersection of Main St and South County Road in Marstons Mills!
It has been said that the funds were approved in a recent Transportation Bond Bill and the Mass. Highway Department already has preliminary design plans for this signal! Anyone who has waited or tried to cross there, knows how badly that signal light is needed.
Good Work Charlie!
And congratulations to Charlie Thifault for being the first one to get “Skunked in 2004”.
OK, that it is from here, till next time...
