A Celebration Of The Marstons Mills River

River Day 2003 A Great Success!
It was a perfect day beside the Mill Pond where an estimated 500 people attended River Day on May 4th. Lots of folks enjoyed the weather and the great lunch prepared by the Liberty Hall Club. The kayaking was a big draw, as well as the perennial favorite: Flush The Kids!

We all owe thanks to the many volunteers who worked at River Day for they all gave up their Sunday to make this event possible. We are also indebted to all of the local businesses that provided both prizes and financial support.

And again, special thanks go to Kris Clark, coordinator of the River Day program, to Lynne Dowdall of the Cape Cod Conservation District and to Donna Lawson of the Marstons Mills Village Association. They have expended a great deal of time and effort coordinating the many tasks required to make River Day a success.
